The Sibillini Mountains are a mountain group whose name already tells a lot about the legends that have gathered around them.

The other numerous names that we find along the whole mountain group also speak of the aura of mystery: Pizzo del Diavolo, Lago di Pilato, Grotta delle Fate or della Sibilla, Gole dell’Infernaccio and the Bad Pass. The sacred and the pagan intertwine up to the most remote primordial recesses of the history of the Renaissance.
