This book covers the five municipalities of Romagna within whose administrative limits the protected area of the Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona and Campigna National Park falls. All excursions are suitable for people used to walking in the woods and not for complete beginners. Each walk has reported the kilometers and the difference in height: we invite you to keep these in mind when choosing the itinerary.
Indicative and maximum times have also been given: the times refer to the duration of the excursion at a constant pace and breaks are not calculated. You don’t need to respect them, we have included them just so you can get an idea of the times; when you are in nature it is right to enjoy the marvel that surrounds us and to postpone everything, including timing.
For those accustomed to the difficulty assessment scale given by the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), all the routes presented can be classified as “E”.
