A new editorial appointment in the series dedicated to Potenza: structured by itineraries, the Guide presents itself as an agile tool for exploring the city and its surroundings. The first part welcomes the historical-monumental itineraries, leading the reader into the alleys and cuntane, to discover the “sacred road of the churches”, in the places of an expansion that has not forgotten the ancient road structure whose traces can still be seen peculiarities in urban spaces. From the heart of the narrow city streets you then go towards the suburbs, to visit the important archaeological sites of the Via Erculea. The Green Itineraries, then, propose an exploration of the environment “outside and inside the walls”, a very particular route, outside the usual schemes. Finally, an appendix dedicated to gastronomy tells, between one recipe and another, the daily life and popular traditions of Potenza.
