Located between the Municipalities of Esanatoglia and Fabriano, the mountain crest of Giuoco del Pallone and Pizzinetto di Mutola is among the highest in the surrounding area. Its steep slopes and very narrow paths make it today the destination of interesting mountain bike trails.
The landscape of Gualdo Tadino is dominated by the Apennine ridge, characterized by a remarkable naturalistic and environmental heritage, made up of woods and pine forests, large expanses of perennial meadows, which give life to suggestive polychrome flowerings and suggestive peaks, such as Monte Penna and the Monte Nero. The territory is rich in very fresh water springs, the most famous being the Rocchetta spring.
