I Belvedere delle Dolomiti
50 escursioni ai migliori punti panoramici dalla Val d’Adige al Piave
The Belvedere delle Dolomiti is a fresh guide, original in Italian editorial production dedicated to the Dolomites, which brings together 50 excursions to the most panoramic and easily accessible viewpoints between the Val d’Adige and the Piave. The itineraries, located on the Dolomite mountains or on the nearby pre-Alpine and hilly reliefs, are mainly circular and allow you to reach the most panoramic points, which offer wide and suggestive views of the massifs, the valleys and in some cases also the Po Valley. The routes described do not present great difficulties, do not require experience or mountaineering equipment and many are also suitable for families and beginners. Among the destinations, some are Dolomite peaks known to all mountain goers, others are more isolated and off the beaten track for hiking. In fact, our viewpoints include very popular peaks such as the Sass de Stria, Sass de Putia, Monte Serva and Paterno and other less popular destinations such as the Crode Fiscaline and the Cima Orientale dell’Auta. There is no shortage of the peaks of Lagorai, Cima Bocche and the Venetian Prealps. Adding charm to many of the excursions presented in the Belvedere delle Dolomiti is the presence of Austrian and Italian fortifications and observation points built during the Great War and which today become ideas for a dive into history. The guide is enriched by a set of practical information on signs, support points and itinerary maps.
