Monte Rosa

The upper Ayas Valley includes the western peaks of the Monte Rosa Group extending from the Gobba di Rollin to Castore and the municipal territories of Ayas and Brusson. The magnificence and brightness of the landscapes, the amazing examples of Walser architecture, the presence of excellent refuges, a well-maintained network of trails and some historic mule tracks, make the valley one of the most important excursion poles in the entire region. A valley for everyone, with a truly remarkable variety of routes, from walks in the valley floor to the many peaks above three thousand meters accessible to well-trained hikers, which you can savor through 47 thematic excursions, to walk and get to know this wonderful corner of Alpine civilization.
