The Grande Traversata Elbana, a trek on the edge of the mountains, suspended over the crystalline sea among the scents of the Mediterranean scrub, in the heart of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. In four stages you cover the entire ridge of the island from north-east to west, from Cavo to Patresi or Pomonte, staying overnight in splendid villages where you can savor the excellent local cuisine. For a short time, Elba was the island of Napoleon who left an indelible mark on it.
