La Bici d’Epoca
Appunti per conoscere e riconoscere la bicicletta da corsa d’epoca
L’Eroica Series N.2
This book makes valuable culture: The vintage bike is also a manual for practicing supervising a market that is filled, sometimes with art, with a tide of material, pulled out from everywhere, rediscovered and, in some cases, also re-proposed at incongruous prices and often with random pedigrees by some merchant who is not at all heroic attracted by the business of the last hour.
It does not claim to be exhaustive on a subject that deserves encyclopedic handouts but it provides guidelines, directs research, establishes time frames.
A contribution of passion that Giuseppe Nardini provides to the people of “L’Eroica”, in happy expansion.
Maybe soon, with the contribution of readers we know are attentive, Nardini will return to the topic; the “Heroic Bikes” Register is experiencing an unthinkable success, the sector collecting is even an hypertrophic expansion but it is the culture, the passion of heroic cycling that is gaining attention. Sport all needs to seek lost values and times: cycling, thanks to the Eroici, is finding them again.
