Le Tre Valli Umbre
Dalla Valnerina a Colfiorito lungo l’antica Via della Spina
“The three Umbrian valleys” is the name given to the road tunnel that connects the vast plain between Spoleto and Foligno with the narrow and very popular Valnerina at the height of S. Anatolia di Narco. Today, in the blink of an eye, the tunnel joins the lively but sometimes dark beauty of the Umbrian Valnerina with the suggestive and less known ancient Via della Spina that crosses the Cammoro and Menotre valleys to reach – and in very distant times it was the chosen route – the Colfiorito plateau.
Sixteen “off-guide” trekking itineraries to be followed and lived with respect and disorientation in search of nature, tradition and memories up to the border with the Marche, crossing narrow valleys and ridge roads with breathtaking views.
